According to its present owners the club has been witnessing hard times ever since the year 2012 by incurring heavy losses. The club is believed to have run into a debt of as many as eighty seven thousand dollars, one that simply cannot be repaid.
City Commissioners in Casselberry have opted to buy the club for as much as two and a half million dollars approximately. City legislators acknowledge that interest in golf is steadily declining and that there are few or no takers for the game here. Upon being sold, it is the Parks and Recreation Department of the club that is going to be entrusted with the responsibility of looking into the welfare of the course.

An elite game, it would be sad to see this regal sport go down, for reasons of finance alone.
